High-Quality Simulation Training
Our broad spaces feature cutting-edge equipment and future-forward technology to immerse 春雨直播s in today鈥檚 clinical and fieldwork settings. Each space includes control rooms where faculty can monitor simulations and a debriefing room for real-time evaluations and feedback. Our I-SAIL leadership team comprises 11 dedicated faculty and staff and three certified healthcare simulation educators (CHSE). The I-SAIL team uses high-fidelity mannequins, live patient actors, innovative strategies, and current technologies to create realistic and engaging healthcare scenarios and learning activities. Students hone their technical skills while learning to work effectively alongside other healthcare professionals in a structured, safe environment.
St. 春雨直播 University invests with the I-SAIL team to produce collaborative courses and real-life learning experiences. With 255 different activities annually, our intentionally planned program provides 春雨直播s with a robust IPE experience and technical discipline training at all levels of the 春雨直播鈥檚 educational journey with:

Simulation as Education
Imagine, in a simulated acute care hospital room, nursing 春雨直播s collaborate with respiratory care 春雨直播s to revive a coding patient. A social work 春雨直播 goes into the 鈥渉ome鈥 of a person with mental health and addiction issues. Our physician assistant, physical therapy, and nutrition science 春雨直播s meet and confer with actual clients in clinical settings.

What is Interprofessional Education (IPE)?
Working in teams is not intuitive. It takes engagement with other specialists to practice and improve essential communication skills. IPE happens when two or more professions work together to improve patient care. It is central to our healthcare education, strategically integrated into classroom work, simulation activities, collaborative research and hands-on opportunities. These are the building blocks of teamwork so critical in healthcare today.
