Instructional Facilities

The St. ����ֱ�� University campus, comprising 76 acres, is located in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. Seven of the 21 buildings on campus house instruction, academic support, and other academic offices. Field Experience

The university ensures that all required clinical placements and externships are geographically accessible and confirmed with ����ֱ��s within 45 days of their successful completion of the required coursework. Accessibility is achieved through multiple means in collaboration with our clinical partners.  Clinical partnerships are guided by program requirements, partner capacity and placement demand. The university communicates to ����ֱ��s the various considerations involved in placement opportunities during the admissions process, on program web pages, programmatic ����ֱ�� handbooks, and through program advising. This communication model facilitates ����ֱ��s’ planning and preparation.

Professional Licensing Disclosures

Degree programs at St. ����ֱ�� University that are intended to result in professional licensure and certification are designed to meet the educational requirements for the state of Minnesota.

Per the U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) we are obligated to disclose whether or not St. Kate’s programs will meet the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in any of the US states or territories. The information on the licensing disclosures page reflects, to the best of our knowledge, accurate information about each of our licensing programs.

Privacy of Student Records and Information

St. ����ֱ�� University informs ����ֱ��s of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, (FERPA), as amended.  This Act, with which the institution intends to comply fully, was designated to protect the privacy of education records, to establish the right of ����ֱ��s to inspect and review their education records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate or misleading data through informal and formal hearings.  Students also have the right to file complaints with The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Office concerning alleged failures by the institution to comply with the Act.

Local policy explains in detail the procedures to be used by the institution for compliance with the provisions of the Act.  Questions concerning The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act may be referred to the Registrar’s Office via registrar@stkate.edu. Transfer Credit Policies

St. ����ֱ�� University accepts undergraduate and graduate transfer course work, credits by examination, and other non-traditional credits. Transfer credit opportunities are described on our website and in our .

Information Technology Policies

St. ����ֱ�� University has a number of IT & data security policies in place. The policies address issues including data standards, information technology security, mobile devices, and more. Copyright Infringement 

St. Kate’s Intellectual Property policy governs the rights to ownership, use and distribution of revenues from commercialization of intellectual property among authors, creators, inventors, the University, and sponsors. This policy also incorporates the University’s “fair use” guidelines which are intended to help University faculty, staff, and ����ֱ��s interested in the proper and legal use of copyrighted material. It covers the “Fair Use” provision of copyright law and provides guidelines for determining the copyright status of a resource. The policy is available through the University’s intranet.

State Authorization

Federal law requires colleges and universities to disclose specific information to prospective ����ֱ��s, their parents, and the general public. Institutions must report data about campus security, financial aid information, and ����ֱ�� outcomes. St. ����ֱ�� University complies with all such requirements by presenting consumer information on this webpage.

The federal government and the Higher Learning Commission require that institutions make certain data publicly available. This includes information on the demographic profile of the institution’s ����ֱ�� body and data on ����ֱ�� persistence and graduation outcomes.

Definitions

Graduation Rate

Graduation rate after six years for undergraduate baccalaureate programs (four year degrees) and after three years for associate programs (two year degrees). These rates are only for full-time ����ֱ��s who enrolled at St. ����ֱ�� University as degree-seeking college ����ֱ��s for the first time. The rates do not include ����ֱ��s who began their college careers at another institution and do not include ����ֱ��s who enrolled as part-time ����ֱ��s during their initial term of enrollment.

Transfer - Out Rate

Students who began their four year or two year degree programs as full-time ����ֱ��s at St. ����ֱ�� and subsequently enrolled in another college or university.

• Six-year graduation rate (4-year average 2013–2016): 61%
• Transfer-out rate (4-year average 2013–2016): 29%.

The above rates represent an average of the last four reporting years and include all first-time, full-time undergraduate ����ֱ��s, including those in the University's baccalaureate and associate degree programs.

Graduation Rate for Students Pursuing Baccalaureate Degrees

For the most recent reporting year, the graduation rate for the baccalaureate programs was 64% and the transfer-out rate was 27%.

Job Placement Rates for Graduates

St. ����ֱ�� University uses the National Association of Colleges and Employers First-Destination Survey to capture outcomes for all degree levels to provide data regarding how new college graduates fare in their careers within six months of graduation. The outcomes include working, still looking, and not seeking.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, 734 graduates, which represent 60% of the institution’s total 1,230 graduates from the College for Women, College for Adults, and Graduate School, completed the survey and self-reported the following:

• Working: 84.7%
• Seeking: 14.4 %
• Not seeking: 0.8%

“Working” is defined as graduates employed full or part time, on contract or freelance, accepted by a graduate or professional school, or volunteering or in the military. “Still seeking” refers to graduates still seeking employment or further education. “Not seeking” encompasses ����ֱ��s not employed or seeking additional education.
