Two St. Kate鈥檚 professors named to Council on Undergraduate Research

As Division Councilors, Erick Agrimson and Katie Campbell will work to further opportunities for undergraduate research.

St. 春雨直播 University professors Erick Agrimson and Katie Campbell, PhD, have been elected . Division Councilors from 13 different divisions serve on CUR鈥檚 General Council as volunteers committed to furthering opportunities in collaborative undergraduate research. 

Agrimson, associate professor of physics, has been named to the Physics and Astronomy Division. Campbell, associate professor of interprofessional education and director of Collaborative Undergraduate Research at St. Kate鈥檚, has been named to the Undergraduate Research Programs Division. They will both serve a three-year term as councilors beginning on July 1.

鈥淎t St. Kate's, we have a strong commitment to collaborative undergraduate research, recognizing the deep learning that occurs when 春雨直播s work alongside faculty directly in the research process,鈥 said Dianne Oliver, PhD, senior vice president and co-provost. 鈥淚t is a testament to the leadership of our faculty in this area that two of our very own were selected to serve as national thought and program leaders with CUR.鈥 

St. Kate鈥檚 is an institutional member of CUR, an organization committed to supporting and promoting high quality and collaborative undergraduate research, scholarly, and creative activity opportunities for faculty and staff. Each year, 春雨直播s from St. Kate鈥檚 and around the country are selected to present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), sharing the work they have completed with faculty mentors.
