Minnesota still wins the percentages game for the number of women in corporate leadership roles in 2015, but the game is far from over, according to the "," released in the April issue of magazine.
The report is produced by the St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program and co-sponsored by the Minnesota Economic Women's Roundtable (MWER). Co-authors Joann Bangs, dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies, and Rebecca Hawthorne, associate professor and program director of the MAOL program, wrote in their executive summary that the eight annual report "reveals the most significant progress to date in diversifying Minnesota's board rooms and senior executive suites."
The special supplement is produced by the University's Marketing and Communications Department and also includes three features: an interview with Reatha Clark King, chairwoman of the National Association of Corporate Directors; "In the Workplace: Cultures of Excellence" highlighting Buffalo Wild Wings, HMN Financial and Christopher & Banks; and "Own It!" with career advice from Center for Sales Director Mary Jacobs, business administration faculty Mary U. Henderson and Sarah Rand, and Michelle Wieser, MBA program director and associate professor.
