Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Studies
Kate Larson graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2009. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marquette University in 2013. She joined the St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University Physician Assistant Program as an Assistant Professor in 2019. Her areas of clinical experience include Women's Health, Family Medicine, and Urgent Care. She continues to practice Family Medicine in the South Metro, with a special interest in acute care.
.Assistant Professor, Master of Physician Assistant Studies program
Geeta Deka is an Assistant Professor at St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program. She is a Physician and an educator with more than 18 years of experience in hospitals, clinics and educational institutions. She brings in a blend of career experience from India and US. Her clinical background is working as a General Practitioner and as a house surgeon in women’s health & internal medicine. Her research focus is global health, infectious disease and innovative teaching education and is currently working on a project that is assessing the knowledge, attitude and practice about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation among nurses in a tertiary hospital of Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland, a northeastern state in India.
Professional Faculty, Physician Assistant Studies
Tara is a clinical coordinator in the Physician Assistant Program at St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University. Her background includes 17 years of medical practice experience with an emphasis in reconstructive plastic surgery. She is also actively involved in the training of surgical residents from the University of Minnesota across various subspecialties in plastic surgery.

Carrie Marzolf joined the St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University Physician Assistant Program in 2018. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science Communications in 2002. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in 2007. Her clinical experience is primarily in hospital medicine.

Nicole Lamb graduated from Marquette University MPAS program in 2009 has been primarily practicing in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care since. Currently Nicole works clinically at Regions Hospital Emergency department, a busy level I trauma center in St. Paul. Here, she previously participated in the education coordination and delivery to PA, NP and medical ´ºÓêÖ±²¥s and was voted Preceptor of the Year at Regions prior to coming to St. Kate's.
Additionally, Nicole received her Master's of Public Health from George Washington University in Washington, DC and divided her time working clinically in emergency medicine and developing and running the evaluation for a holistic program focused on veteran health, PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma.
