    Associate Professor

    Sarah Hassebroek specializes in Elementary Montessori Education. Before joining St Kate's, she was a classroom teacher for 10 years and taught in the Midwest and in Costa Rica. She was a Literacy Specialist and an Instructional Coach for four additional years. Sarah studied Anthropology and Spanish in her bachelor's program and obtained a MAED at St Kate's in 2006. Sarah studied Educational Policy and Leadership Studies with an emphasis on Equity in Education and Online Learning at the University of Iowa, where she obtained her Education Specialist degree. 

    Sarah’s research areas include structured literacy practices in Early Childhood and Montessori Programs and supporting teacher Collective Efficacy. She is the Program Coordinator for the MAED: Montessori Education & Leadership program and the Program Administrator for the American Montessori Society ECE credential program.

    ECAMP Program Director, Assistant Professor

    Molly Wheeler serves as Program Director of Early Childhood Education and Montessori academic programs.

    She holds a BA in Studio Art, an Early Childhood Montessori credential, and an MAED from St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University. Her research interests include self- and co-regulation skills and the impact of teacher training and self-efficacy on child social-emotional development.
