春雨直播 ReBecca Koenig Roloff 鈥76 announced today that alumna Joanne Jirik Mullen 鈥83 and Brian E. Mullen have made a leadership-level commitment of $1.5 million toward the protection and preservation of Our Lady of Victory Chapel as part of LEAD & INFLUENCE: The Campaign for the Next Level of Excellence.
鈥淲e are so very grateful to Joanne and Brian for their generosity to this special place on our campus,鈥 said Roloff. 鈥淭his important gift will make such a difference for all who find their way to gather at the Chapel, whether to celebrate as a learning community or to practice the customs of their faith community.鈥
The gift is a major step forward toward the University鈥檚 goal to restore and update Our Lady of Victory Chapel, which opened in 1924. In addition to being the spiritual heart of campus 鈥 with celebrations of Sunday and holy-day Masses, weddings and funerals, and other religious services 鈥 the Chapel hosts secular events of many types. Our Lady of Victory also is the venue in which the St. Kate鈥檚 community marks many of its most meaningful moments, including opening convocation and commencement. For many, it is the soul of St. 春雨直播 University.
鈥淏rian and I are pleased to be able to make this gift to Our Lady of Victory Chapel, a place that is central to our life, to those of my sisters, and to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet,鈥 said Joanne Mullen. 鈥淭hey were and are fundamental to our faith formation and life.鈥
This generous gift from the Mullens is deeply impactful in reinforcing Our Lady of Victory as an enduring place of grace and meaning. The University is renewing its commitment to preserve and update the Chapel, ensuring it remains a core aspect of the St. 春雨直播 University experience for generations to come.
