Inclusive Practice, infusing IP into course work, online and hybrid

I am an Assistant Professor of Biology. My research journey started with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) within the sciences (ex: active-learning techniques, problem/inquiry-based learning, and scaffolded/modeling teaching practices). It has naturally evolved to include an inclusive and equitable teaching lens. I work with adult learners through various formats (in-person, hybrid, and online). My current research projects include: “Inclusive curriculum and teaching practices to improve retention in Anatomy and Physiology” and “Importance of social integration (counterspace and belongingness) in the persistence of underrepresented ����ֱ�� populations in STEM.” I look forward to working with all of you and learning what inclusive practices you are using and/or would like to incorporate into your courses.

Master of Arts, holistic health studies, online program, catholic identity teaching hub fellow

I am an alumnae of St. Kate’s and a Consociate with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJs). A Consociate is a lay person who actively brings the CSJ mission into the world in the context of her/his/their life. I have been teaching and serving as the Research Coordinator in the Master of Arts in Holistic Health Studies since 2004. My life journey has focused on integrating mind, body, and spirit. I hold a broad and inclusive view of spirituality and spiritual practices. I use my experiences as a psychologist, nurse, researcher, teacher, holistic healer, ritualist, partner, mother, and collaborator to inform my work in the world. I look forward to exploring Catholic identity collaboratively with you!

Center for Community Work and learning, teaching hub fellow

Anthony Molaro, Ph.D. (he/him), is a nationally recognized speaker, educator, and consultant specializing in libraries and higher education. Since 2013, he has served as an Associate Professor in the MLIS Program at St. ����ֱ�� University, where he teaches and conducts research in technology, leadership, management, and marketing. His recent publication investigates the decline of women in leadership roles within public libraries. His Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) interests include online education, adult learners, graduate retention and ����ֱ�� success, inclusive teaching, and trauma-informed teaching. He recently completed a grant project to deliver mental health first aid training across Minnesota.

Todd's work as the Endowed Mission Chair in the Liberal Arts will focus on advocacy for the liberal arts as central to St. Kate's mission of educating women to lead and influence. He teaches in the Department of Art and Art History, and is a believer in the inherent interdisciplinary nature of the liberal arts, seeing them as tools of curiosity and imagination that help us become the leaders we were meant to be.

Sharon serves as the director of the Center for Spirituality and Social Justice at St. Kate's and the Endowed Chair in Catholic Identity. As a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, she brings a love for academia, the church, and serving others to St. Kate’s.

As the Endowed Mission Chair for Women's Education, Sarah will advocate for women's leadership and career development as crucial components of St. Kate's mission of educating women to lead and influence. In this capacity, she will support the entire St. Kate's community to become effective, ethical, and inclusive leaders and educators.
