Within Grand Rounds, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥s from the interprofessional healthcare team working in the St. Mary's Medical and Rehabilitative Therapies (SMMART) Clinic will share a client case and case progression with the audience. Participants will have the opportunity for a question and answer session following the presentation.
This is a team awareness learning activity with the following learning outcomes:
- Value the expertise of all members of the healthcare team and how their contributions impact the health outcomes of a client.
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of each team member in promoting health outcomes for the client.
- Articulate the shared understanding of team goals for the client.
- Discuss system-level affordances and barriers to supporting team performance and client outcomes.
