Respiratory Care Accreditation

CoARC accredits respiratory therapy education programs in the United States. To achieve this end, it utilizes an ‘outcomes based’ process. Programmatic outcomes are performance indicators that reflect the extent to which the educational goals of the program are achieved and by which program effectiveness is documented.

Essential Outcomes

St. Kate’s respiratory care graduates pass the CRT exam (a legal requirement for all RCs) at a rate of 100 percent. The success rate for St. Kate's RC graduates on the advanced practice credential (RRT) are well above the national average.

Employers and graduates report they are satisfied with the advanced practice preparation provided by the St. Kate’s Respiratory Care program. One hundred percent of our graduates are employed — most within the Twin Cities Metro Area. Over 90 percent of ´ºÓêÖ±²¥s who enroll graduate from the program.
