St. ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ University's community health worker major is a unique and rewarding program that prepares you to make a difference in the lives of others. Learn from experienced faculty and gain the skills you need to improve the health of your community.

In only nine months, you can complete an online community health worker certificate and gain insight and experience in helping diverse cultures navigate the healthcare system. You’ll become an advocate for justice and bridge gaps between communities and the services they need.

In our community health worker program, you'll learn the skills you need to be successful in this important field. With a foundation in public health, health promotion, and community organizing, you’ll be well-prepared to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

CHW Scholarship Support

Students pursuing the Community Health Worker certificate or the CHW concentration within the Public Health major may apply for a federal grant-funded scholarship to cover expenses for up to 24 credits. To be considered for the scholarship, apply for University admission and ask your admission counselor for more information.

We also offer a variety of ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ support services, including career counseling, internship opportunities, and financial aid.
